Another SuperTuck question

Hey Guys-
After searching through the zillions of threads regarding the Crossbreed SuperTuck holster, I still have one question. In hot weather, what is the sweat factor between that rather substantial looking leather backing and your body? I'm getting ready to order one soon to conceal my XD45c better in the shorts-and-a-t-shirt weather, but I'm worried about getting too sweaty behind that holster. I notice from some of the pics that some people wear a wife beater under it and some don't. What do you do?

Jim

Never noticed anything. The holster is mostly against my underwear and my hip is not really a sweat zone. Any sweat is usually down my back and my forehead.

Actually the large leather back piece is far better than nothing at call, you are going to sweat on the gun regardless. I have found the Crossbreed much better than having a wet gun at the end of the day. Here in the summer it is just too hot to wear a wife beater under an shirt.

I have had a leather holster start smell like a wet dog in the past. ONce it gets wet, make sure you let it rest.

Kydex holsters are impervious to moisture, but many people think they are just not a comfortable.

So many of us choose to carry in a hybrid holster so we can have the best of both worlds.

Frankly, I am surprised that I don't see more MTACs or Spartan holsters being discussed here.
