Super Tuck

Well I just ordered me a Super Tuck today and was wondering how y'all like them. I like that all sizes of XD's will fit. So if I fell like packing the Sub-Compact or the 45 I don't have to have several holsters. If any of you have some pics with yours on that would be nice.

I am sure if you do a quick search you will have plenty of outstanding feedback on them. I ordered mine on recommendations from these guys and love it. Quick to put on, customizable to your carry style, priced right, quick service and great folks to deal with. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them, Mark is a great guy to do business with. None of that "give us your money and a grumpy person will be with you in 6-8 months" from them. Order it up without hesitation.

Here's mine with a few mods.

1. Trimmed the backing piece around the pistol grip.
2. Shortened the front clip.
3. Trimmed the excess leather below the front clip.

I see a couple of people trimming the backing for a better grip. Was it a lot of excess material? Like was it necessary?

I wouldn't say it was necessary. However, I use my carry rig for IDPA and a fast firm grip is much easier if you trim off the excess. That backing piece is probably used for most pistols and the Kydex is unique to the pistol so I would expect some tailoring at the choice of the user. That's the beauty of the Supertuck. You make it yours and not just live with what someone thinks how your holster should fit.

I sometimes shoot my complete carry gear, the Supertuck and my XD40sc. Most of the time, I shoot my XD9.

Thats the point of IDPA right? Carry gun and carry holster in real-life situations?
