rant about Crossbreed Holsters
What is it with Mark at Crossbreed Holsters???
I bought one of his Adjustable SuperTuck IWB holsters back in the spring of '06. Right before Christmas I sent it back to him for a repair and was fully willing to pay for the repairs since I bought mine when he offered a 1yr warranty, which had passed. Perfectly reasonable, one would think. I wasn't asking too much -- just fix my holster, tell me how much it costs and send it back to me. So why is it that instead of honoring his 12month warranty that he offered when I purchased this fine holster, he has the audacity to provide incredible customer service and go beyond that, not just fixing my holster, but completely replacing it with a new one (upgrades included)? I've come to expect people in business for themselves in the gun industry (i.e. gunsmiths) to be surly curmudgeons with no people skills who overcharge their customers. Mark, on the other hand decided he wants to be different and went further than he really had to. Now I have a completely new holster with the new spacers, the front sight channel, the new clips, and it arrived back to me about a week after he received it! What's up with that??? C'mon, Mark, what do you have to say for yourself? I know what I have to say... thanks!

wow.. i wasnt expecting this.. i saw the post and i was thinking to myself.. how could someone rant about crossbreed.. i have never heard anything bad about it.. then i read it..
+1 i know who im buying from next

I mentioned the same thing to Mark when he so quickly sent out my holster. I believe I complimented them on taking customer service to a new level, and that in doing so they would find a dedicated following of customers who refer their company on, as is happening all over the place, they can hardly keep up with the precedent they have set.
Again, kudos to the folks at Crossbreed, awesome job and even better customer service. They always respond to inquiries and have been nothing short of fantastic to deal with. Mark, if you are reading this one, when you ramp up and get moving on that idea I sent you, remember, I get to name it. wink wink. |

I only read the first few lines of the opening post because I had to catch a plane but that was enough!!!. I am going to kick Mark's a-- when I see him. What kind of lousy customer service is THAT!? I'll never recommend him again....his stuff is !@#$....
