got a kd dakota defender for my xd45c and have a question...
i received my kd dakota defender and the quality and feel is great. it carries well and compares to iwb holsters costing twice as much. i do have a question/concern however...
it doesnt appear to cover the trigger very well. here is a pic...any thoughts?

So that's what I gonna be gettin'?
Who else has the Defender for the 45C??? Is it like this? The pic on his web shows a 1911 and the triggers covered on it. |

It would be best to shoot the pics over to Kevin to get his thoughts directly.

I agree with Old School. I have one for my XD9 but the trigger guard is covered. You definitely cant see or touch the trigger itself.

Yea, I'd check with K&D on that. Here's my XD40sc when I still had a Dakota Defender.

Being that leather is a natural product, sometimes when it dries of sets, its final shape is not the intended. I am guessing that Kevin will make it right. OS

I just checked mine, which I am currently wearing, and it covers my trigger completely. Kevin is a stand up guy and he will fix it to your satisfaction.

Glad to hear Kevin stands behind his product! Just from reading here (from several post on XDTalk about Kevins holsters...) I'm going to order a IWB holster sometime in the next month or two.
