Velcro-attached holster for XD40 SC

So, now that I have the XD (.40 SC), it's time to consider a holster. I have a SeV Tactical System 4.0 on the way. It has a pocket with Velcro... er, "hook and loop"... in it for securing a holster. It also has an elastic loop very well-positioned to act as a general sort of holster, but I'd prefer the additional security of an actual trigger cover. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is this what you're referring to?

http://www.511tactical.com/index.asp...W&number=59002

I wasn't able to find one for Blackhawk. I looked at everything linked from:

http://www.blackhawk.com/category1.a...art=&priceend=

I found the 5.11 in my earlier research, and ruled it out because of the size; I don't know how an XD subcompact compares to the revolver in the picture. Have you ever seen one? Would the SC fit?

I dont have any first hand experience with that holster so.......

hot sure if it will fit. never hurts to give them a call, they may have one that does.

Interesting that SEV does not make any holsters for there clothing. seems to me that would go hand in hand.

Agreed, that is a little odd. After some more research, the Crossbreed Ohai Surface Mount holster looks like it might do the trick:

Once I have the jacket, I should have a better idea.

With most holster that use kydex clips to attach the holster to the belt it is a small matter to remove hook part and install a heavy duty piece of velcro to the kydex. Some holster makers do offer that type of attachment with their holsters.
