smokey240sx XDTalk 100 Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 139	Lifespan of 1911 recoil spring vs factory XD? I'm looking into Don guide rod for my XD45. From what I heard the lifespan of the 1911 are really short. I would hate to sacrifice reliability over comfort.
