Blackhawk CQC Serpa for cheap!

Hi everyone,

I just bought a carbon fiber Blackhawk CQC Serpa from opticsplanet.com for $39.99 with free UPS shipping! That is the carbon fiber finish too which usually is more expensive.

Just thought I would pass on the deal to everyone.

That's about $10 less than I paid at pistolgear.com.

Nice holster, find the thread on XDTalk about upgrading the plastic "spring" to reduce the little bit of rattle when the gun's in the holster.

This one is $34.99 with free shipping. Same thing with a slightly different look, I believe: http://www.opticsplanet.net/blackhaw...op-paddle.html

I have both, and think they're both great holsters. However, they each have different functions. We can't open carry in Texas, so the only time I use my Serpa is when I'm at the range. The rest of the time I use my supertuck.

I tried concealed carrying with my blackhawk serpa and a t-shirt, but it stuck out too far from my body to not be noticeable. If you were gonna CC, you'd probably need a jacket or vest.

Welcome to the board.

Ah hell. Wish I would've seen that. But then again, you actually get a better deal with the carbon fiber on Optics Planet compared to other stores. I'd rather spend an extra $5 for the carbon fiber (purely cosmetic) than at other places paying more for the carbon fiber compared to the matte finish.

I wish I had found this. I just picked up my Serpa from cabela's (not the best price but it saved me on shipping since I was getting a new belt as well). I also got the MTAC from Comp-Tac for IWB carry. Just came today and I've already tried it out. Truly amazing holster without any metal contact to my skin that the crossbreed has. Not that big of a deal, but it was comfortable to me...
