Holster designs
I have a Blade-Tech UHC which is Kydex with a single clip, nothing else. I'm looking at the Crossbreed and Tucker holsters and notice the have a wide section of leather that the Kydex gets attached to and that the clips are spaced wide. Does this design yield greater concealability? I see many holsters not designed this way that people say conceal really good.

I like the ones with the two clips that are offset from the holster body. For one, it makes a more stable platform. The single clip ones have a tendency to rotate when you sit down and stand up. I was able to "make" a fellow CHL'er at a dinner theater show once because he kept adjusting his hip every time the audience stood up. A two-clip holster would have prevented this. Secondly, having the clips offset from the holster body makes the overall thickness a little less. Less thickness means less bulge. Less bulge means easier to conceal. The Crossbreed Supertuck fits right into this category. It has two clips that are offset from the holster body and the Kydex holster body is so very thin compared to leather bodies.

+1 to above. I have the comptac CTAC and it conceals way better than the 1 clip holster I have, I don't even remember the name 'cause it sucked so bad. The one clip holster would rotate and I'd have to adjust it, it really made me self concious that I was carrying. The ctac is pretty comfortable for an IWB. I've recently gone with an Galco SSS OWB and I really like it for my EMP.

I don't have any problems concealing my tactical at 3:00 with a supertuck. I'm 6'1 / 220lbs, and usually wear an untucked t-shirt. The supertuck is a great holster, I highly recommend it.

That's what she said. Ohhhhhhh...........
I think there are a few others on here that do the same. I originally had a service, because I thought the tactical would be too large to carry. A few months later I saw that a few others carried a tactical, so I went and handled it at the gun shop. I decided I liked the longer slide better, so I switched to that. I borrowed a buddy's subcompact, and couldn't really tell much difference when I used the full length mag. \\ACB
