TFO: Tiny Flying Object
A couple of weeks ago, I was shooting my XD45, which is fitted with TruGlo TFOs. While I was shooting, the green fiber optic insert in the front sight came loose and and went sailing over my shoulder. I didn't see where it landed, and never found it.
I've e-mailed TruGlo about this, but so far I have received no response. I would like to know if there are any replacement optic fibers available that I could use to easily replace the lost one. I was also thinking about just replacing the TFOs with a different set of sights. I was considering some made by MMC, but I have no experience with their products. (Trijicon would be my first choice, if I could find a set with yellow or orange rear dots. Meprolights would be my second, but they don't recommend their product for the XD45 due to elevation issues.) Does anyone have any informed opinions about these? |

Call them. They will send you new sights. I know this. BTW... go out at night and fetch up the capsule?
