So as far as I can tell, the Trijicon's are the way to go? I've seen posts talking about other night sights falling off the weapon... any thing like this happen w/ the Trijicon's?!
Also, in my opinion, it would be best for me to send my slide to Springfield Armory for installation... what do you guys think? I know I could do it myself, but there's also a chance of me scratching my pretty bi-tone gun! Thanks for any input

I put Triji's on my last year and have always been a die hard Trijicon fan, but I have been looking at trading mine for a set of XS NS. Little more money but I like the set up. Take a look before buying. If you can find a gun dealer that has several different types, go there and see which one is the best for you.
If you are set on Trijicon's check out Ajames in the xd-hs-2000 sponsor section. He did mine and did a good job.

James is recoating my XD45c in a custom color, but I chose the Heine Straight 8's after experience with them on my Glocks. A lot of $$$, but DEFINATELY worth it!!! Much easier to line-up two dots vertically than three on a horizontal plane... I'd go with James -- he charges $20 if you send the slide to him with your choice of sigts, and installs for FREE if you purchase them through him. I'll be buying them from him when I send my XD9sc to him for the same treatments this one's getting!
Good luck! -Fyr

I have them (Trijicon Night Sights) on my XD9 Sub-compact and like them ALOT! They're very bright and you can even see them well in half light. Also, very good mfg warranty.
