The thinnest batting or golf gloves you can find...unless you're talking winter shooting, making insulation an issue.
Basically, I try the "can-I-pick-up-a-dime" test with any new gloves.

Friend of mine uses a pair of football receiver gloves with 1-2" of the trigger finger cut off.

These work fine. Comfort and stretch where needed. They also maintain good dextarity. If you go with insulated gloves your hands will stay warm but you will give up more dexterity.
Pittards leather uninsulated shooting gloves, Cabela's. ![]() These are sold at Galls NeopreneŽ Shooting Gloves with Brace Insert ![]() If you want to be more tactical, then try some of the ones at blackhawk.

Same here. I have a pair of Power Trip gloves with chopped fingers and a velcro strap on the top of the wrist. Now that I'm going to start using the Thumbs-Forward grip instead of the Thumb-Over grip, I might not wear both gloves.

If your not wearing glove to keep your hand warm than why wear them? I tried them once or twice when I first started shooting USPSA and found that all gloves did for me was get caught in things and reduce my dexterity and feel.
