Springfield Supplied XD Mag Reloader???
First let me start out by saying I LOVE my XD9 Sub-Compact I also really like the holster and spare mag holster; all three ARE GREAT!!!!
The only one I'd like an opinion on is the mag reloader. Is anyone having any success with it? Maybe it’s just me but sure seems like I have to wrestle with it just about as much work than nothing at all. I'd like to hear your input. Thanks!

Ironically enough I have the opposite situation. For me the magloader is an invaluable way to save my thumb from getting torn up. The holster and mag carrier I find useless.

Ditto - the speed loader is simple, easy to use, and almost required for new mags. I've not used the holster or huge bulky mag holder. I prefer leather holsters and nylon fabric mag holders.

The mag loader is fine for me. I just put the base of the mag on a sturdy surface , put the loader on & load it up. I thought the dual mag holder would suck but it OK too. I like that you can attach the loader onto it & also a light holder if you want. The only thing that's not worth much is the factory holster.

I like the holster for one reason...
Every once in a great moon when I open carry (working on my land or sometimes shooting on my land) camping and things of that nature that don't warrant the cost of a new open carry holster. Usually though I just conceal carry it anyway. I do like the thought of mounting it (the holster) to the headboard or as one forum member did here in the console of his truck. The mag loader to me is just bleh. But then again I ALWAYS use my hands and I am really not all that sure how to use one in the first place. The mag holder is dumb I've used it once while shooting out on my friends farm after getting the XD.

I put the magazine base in the palm of my hand and use my thumb to work the mag loader up and down. It works fine for me.

Just to echo most everyone else.
Mag loader works fine, once a new magizine loosens up, I find that I can load it faster without the loader than with it. Gun holster and mag carrier are junk for daily carry.

The mag loader works great for me. Especially for the last few rounds in the 13 rnd mags for my 45. The holster was just a dust collector until I mounted it under the dash of my truck (thanks for the idea to another member here). Now the holster is used daily and the mag loader tries to keep up with my 45's appetite.

Mag Loader is handy, esp. after you get into the rhythm.
I also have a loader for the Beretta 92FS mags that will work with XD mags. Are you sure you got the hang of it? mrwildroot
