I had the springfield custom night sights installed on my 40 tactical when I sent the gun in for a carry job. I like them alot. You can see the front sight very well in daylight and at night they definitely do their job. I carry mine on duty though. Either way doesn't matter, like I said they work great in daylight. You can look at springfields site and go to custom shop and download a price list for the xd.

i have the TFO's installed on my xd40sc and love them. I had trijicons on the xd45 service and the TFO's are much brighter in low and no light. They are still easy to aquire during daylight as well.

Some of us are fortanate enough to have access to Advance Weapon Ranges which allow low night and NO LIGHT live fire.....Night sights certainly help.

Because FO work so much better during the day?

Cant go wrong with Trijicon...

If you are getting a gunsmith to put them on for you, I would say if you are paying more that about $60, you are getting a little on the expensive side.

Do you use this gun on your nightstand and/or CCW with it? Those are the two times you want night sights.

Exactly....With the increase in home invasions and the fact crime doubles at night why not increase your odds of success with night sights

I belong to a private range and 99% of the time that I go there, Im the only one there. I have the option of turning the indoor lights off or down to practice lowlight shooting.
Night sites are a huge benefit!
