I believe it's uni-large, designed for service-sized pistols. The pckg. at the time listed large-frame GLOCK and SIG pistols. Fits the XD like a charm.

I have Springers extended mag release on my .45. It's not the longest one and not a larger diameter.
No problems at all with that one. I like it a lot.

Speaking of which, anyone know if there's a Pachmayr grip available that would fit the thicker & shorter grip of the 45 Compact? I know the Hogue Handall Jr. fits, but I've had a tough time finding much info on the Pach's in general and wanted to give them a good look-over before defaulting to the thinner Hogue.

I just picked up a Houge universal I think the bottom says (17000) and I just had to trim it a bit to make it not catch the grip safety. I basically made a small flat |_| and it works like a charm. It is very snug on my .45 service. It does make the grips thicker, but I feel that it helps me with my grip better. I will report back once I go shoot it which will be tomrorow.

pistolgear.com handles large and small pachmayrs.

The slip ons and the tapes may be OK for some- especially with bigger hands.

A number of people with not-so big hands don't want to make the grips ANY bigger at all by adding anything.

My fingers are kind of shorter & fatter, so the grip trim/reduction and stippling are the way to go for me. A little more expensive, but that's OK.

I have a Hogue Handall and with little trimming it is great! I used a little hairspray to slide it on and it has never moved. I do not have large hands ad it feels great for cheap and looks tacticool! It is a hogue large 17000.
