It's actually listed for both classifications. "Mag release button may not be oversized in diameter or protrude more than .2" out from the frame"

I was bummed when I read that.

Ah, I'm new to IDPA. That was a customer's release, I use ours, which sounds IDPA legal.

I've had an issue with Polymer pistols and the longer extended mag release. One was too long and it would engage the release button while riding close in the holster. When you'd draw and bring the pistol up to fire, the mag would have already dropped to the floor.
Does anyone have that issue with the XD's extended mag release?

I was afraid to purchase it for that reason and that's why I went with the larger diameter release button.

That is why we have 3 lengths of release, 1 could do it, the other 2 won't.

Just a slip-on grip, though if DNM ever gets moving I'll have him stipple the grip and cut reliefs into the bottom.

Maybe its the background but that looks like OD Green WAZX3. Weird. I had errands to do today so I couldn't "practice" but I should have tomorrow off as they eff'ed up my schedule again. Eh, well I could use an extra day off. Short week as I'm off Saturday also for IDPA.

Oh yes... I have to hold that btw sometime soon. As the grip was already much larger than mine, I wonder how I'd like the slipon.
