Cool carry option
I just bought the Camelbak Goblin (inspired by a thread in "Non-XD Other Gun" area), a waist pack water carrier with a hidden holster. This thing is awesome! Completely conceals my XD40 service and looks totally benign.
This is my first attempt at pictures here, sorry for the small size. If you click the pictures it takes you to the Imageshack site and they are slightly bigger. Here is the waist bag: ![]() A couple of photos of it on my waist: ![]() ![]() Pull the top handle straight out and the bag opens wide to reveal "my little friend": ![]() View of holster from the wearer's view: ![]() Here's the inside holster. As you can see the XD fits nicely. The outside of the holster is all hook-n-loop so you can place it the way you like in the bag and it stays put. ![]() So far this is the best conceal carry option I've found. If you never open the gun compartment nobody would ever suspect you were carrying. The storage pockets are typical of any waist pack and the water bag holds 28 ounces. |

Where does the tube to drink the water from hang or sit while you're wearing it? Just dangling from the bag or over your shoulder or what?

I've seen those. They do look better than the traditional fanny pack. Does it really keep your liquids cold?

The drinking tube can be fastened to the belt with attached clips.

I haven't put any water in this one yet but I have the "backpack" style water carriers and they stay pretty cold.

Wilderness SafePacker
This is one amazing holster. You can adapt this thing six ways from Sunday and EVERY setup works as good as the other. High quality, great function. Two BIG thumbs up
You can get it at the Wilderness website or from Dillion Precsion. |
