new grips for xd's
Just letting anyone know I bought a set of "sticker " grips off e bay and put them on before I went to range today. Used alcohol wipes and stuck them on in about a minute. Work great, gives me a better grip in the heat for sure. There are five pieces, one for each side of the grip, one for the thumb rest indent and one for the bottom of the trigger guard. wait, that's four, sorry. anyway they are a textured rubber and worked great with sweaty hands. definitely stayed in place. I took the one off the trigger guard though as this made it rough to get in my duty holster. They are called traction grips and were about 8.00 with shipping.

Give 'em time, the corners will start to peel eventually.

oh well, if they do then if they last a couple more trips to the range then they are probly not bad for the money.

traction grips are still in great shape....been to the range four times with them and they are holding up so far...I will post again when they start to peel.

I, too, removed the trigger guard strip from the gun. I just wasn't fond of the feel of it against the side of my middle finger. My Tractiongrips haven't peeled or shifted in the months that they've been on my XD. I recommend these grips (mine, too, are the rubber ones) to anyone. When I did peel off the trigger guard strip there was no residue left on the gun. They're great!
