Modified my holster...
I have a Galco M7X holster for XD45 compact...and it was holding it way too tight, to the point where I couldn't draw with one hand. I went to Home Depot today and picked up a couple of neoprene washers and the nut/bolt combo I need. After getting home, drilling out the rivet, and replacing it, it's sweet now. I think I'm going to paint the nut/bolt black so it's not shiny and what not.
I'll get some pics and specific part sizes for anyone else who wants to make this easy and minor change. |

Good idea! I think that is the holster I ordered last week. IS that the Matrix holster? Gotta go pick it up next weekend. I will be interested in this mod as well.

here's a thread I started about it when I bought it: Galco M7X MATRIX Not my gun, but the holster is the same: ![]() The rivet right in front of where the trigger guard sits is the one I drilled. |
