Modified my holster...
I have a Galco M7X holster for XD45 compact...and it was holding it way too tight, to the point where I couldn't draw with one hand. I went to Home Depot today and picked up a couple of neoprene washers and the nut/bolt combo I need. After getting home, drilling out the rivet, and replacing it, it's sweet now. I think I'm going to paint the nut/bolt black so it's not shiny and what not.

I'll get some pics and specific part sizes for anyone else who wants to make this easy and minor change.

Good idea! I think that is the holster I ordered last week. IS that the Matrix holster? Gotta go pick it up next weekend. I will be interested in this mod as well.

Yeah, it's a Matrix, whatever that means...

here's a thread I started about it when I bought it:

Not my gun, but the holster is the same:


The rivet right in front of where the trigger guard sits is the one I drilled.
