xd tactical holsters

Hello, I am new here and am trying to find some holster choices for my xd tactical. My current duty holster is a safariland 6280 and off duty I have a fobus paddle. I have found a holster made by blade tech for duty but it is not lined and I haven't heard any reviews on it. I have had my weapon refinished because of holster wear and would really like to find a duty holster that will limit wear.

I am also looking for a better off duty/concealed carry holster. Sometimes I have to work in plain clothes and I would like to find a holster that will cover the entire barrel instead of a holster made for a four inch that has an open end. Bianchi makes one called a special agent, other than that I have only found plastic holsters that the barrel protrudes from. I sure wish blackhawk would make their serpa duty holster for my weapon. It makes me mad that they already have it for the M&P and not the XD. Any help is appreciated.

They do make Serpas for XDs...I've been trying to figure out if the holsters are interchangeable with different mounting options (i.e. thigh rig, paddle, belt, etc.) I know some are, but not sure about all. Guess I could email them...

xd tactical holsters

I know that the serpa is made for the xd, but not for the longer barrel of the tactical model. I know my tactical will fit in a serpa but my whole thing is I don't want the extra inch of my barrel unprotected where it can rub on a seat belt. Thanks for the reply.

Tac XD holster

I just ordered the Comp-Tac C-T.A.C. holster this week and am excited to get it. Guys on some local postings can't say enough good things about them. Height and cant adjustable, comfortable and thin for an IWB rig.

I'll keep you posted and when it gets here I'll give you my two cents.
