can 9mm ammo be used in .40 cal magazine
Hi my name is john and this is my first post in this forum...I have recently purchased to pistols an xd9 4in service and a p226r navy both in 9mm, my question was can the xd40 mag fit in the xd9 and if it can, can you use 9mm ammo in the mag? I am only asking because i really don't want to go find a hi cap mag in my price range, and i figure you can fit more than 10 9mm in a 40 cal mag....
also if anyone knows about them can you put a .40/.357 sig mag in a 9mm sig? will the .40/.357 sig mag feed 9mm ammo, thanks for anyone who can help me ~j |

Yes you can.
The magazines on the 9/40/357 are interchangeable, but the feed lips are different on the 9 than the 40.

i never adjusted the feed lips on my dads .40 mags he gave me and they feed just fine, but this is not true for all xd's
