TruGlo Versus Trijicon Night Sites
Which is better? Are the TruGlo (TFO or fixed tritium) steel sights just like Trijicon?

The TFOs sure aren't. They're much better. Unless all of your shooting is at night.

2 completely different animals. The TFO's are fiber optic/tritium and in the daylight look like LED lights they are so bright.
The regular Truglo are comparable to the Trijicon, and the tritium capsules are probaly made by Trijicon. Mike |

I find the Trijicons to be too small to see during the daytime. I have TFO's on almost all my handguns now, got rid of the Trijicons.

I have heard that the Tru Glos are not that durable and the FO and Tritium dots can be offcenter? Is that true?

My TFO's WEREN'T durable, and customer service in my instance was worse than a lame joke. I now have Trijicon & Ameriglo only.

I have been using TFOs for over a year without a problem. They are great at night, but also very easy to see in daylight.

Mine have been great. All companies turn out a bad product now and then. I probably won't buy any more of them, I'll just buy Williams Firesights and a good flashlight.

Why wouldn't you buy them anymore? Just like the firesights better? |
