Insight X2L Light/Laser Opinion
I’m thinking about getting the Insight X2L light/laser combo for my service XD. I’m wondering what kind of experiences people are having with it? How is the reliability? Is the light bright enough? I like how compact it is, but at the same time, I'm worried the light is a little too small. Let me know!
Cheers!

No experience with the X2L....but I do own the Streamlight TLR-2 and it's a great little light/laser. I know you asked about the X2L, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents. I looked at all of the light laser combos and finally settled on the Streamlight. I'm sure someone else has the X2L and can offer some info.

if you have the room i would opt for something larger. i have the .40 sub compact and its the only light/laser that fits it. it works fine, kinda low light but easiliy can identify a target within prob around 50 ft. . its a lot tougher than i thought, i carry mine all the time-you never know where you'll be if a substation takes a dive and your no longer in the lighted wharehouse store but your lost and in the dark. i wouldnt carry it as much if it were bigger though, so it serves itself well. i would buy another one, but like i said if i had the room i would probably do a lasermax/surefire combo or something. hope the confusion of this response helps

Thanks, I actually was able to try out the x2 in a buddy's dark basement today. I think for its size it does an adequate job. I should be getting one here pretty soon.
