TLR2 Owners?

Just got my TLR2 and was wondering if I got slightly ripped. Did your TLR2 come in a SEALED carton, or with a key installed? Mine also has a nice scratch across the lens and signs it had been mounted before. At least the batteries still showed 3+ volts!

Bought this on fleabay for a good price, so I can't complain too much, but it was advertised as "new in box", not open box item.

They come in a thin plastic box with images of the TLR-2 on various firearms (mounted on a 1911 and a shotgun if I remember correctly). If you're happy with it and it functions properly you didn't get ripped. I bought mine from Botac in sept. of '06.....no problems whatsoever. If you're concerned about it, contact the seller and ask them why the item was listed as "NIB" when in fact there was no box and the light appears to be in "used" condition. How much did you pay?

Got the answer, was a display unit! Not in bad condition, but was advertised as new. Ticks me off when they pull that cr@p. Not worth sending it back and paying shipping (probably both ways!). Got it for $192 shipped so it's a decent deal I guess. The other "new" ones were going for $230+ I think. Unit works fine, tested at the range today.

Dang! I should have done some research instead of impulse bought my TLR-1 for $104 with tax! I still like it though.

^Along those same lines, does anyone think there would be an issue receiving warranty work on a TLR-2 bought from E-Bay?

Don't tell em' you got it used, just say that the lense is scratched and they should take care of you.

As for where to get one today at a good price... still Botac for the most part unless you find a like NIB on egay
