Dual-spring system vs. heaevier spring weight

Yes, I've researched this both here in the forums and on the internet in general before posting this thread.

I am trying to decide which would be better for my XD 45 ACP tactical... an EFK Fire dragon dual-spring recoil system or simply dropping in a heavier guide rod coupled with a stronger recoil spring. The thing is, that I'm slightly less concerned with felt recoil as I am for the battering that results from repeated slide impact. I figure that either option ought to cut down on muzzle lift but which option will reduce slide impact the most and better protect and preserve my gun in the long run?

This query arises from the fact that Springfield chose not to utilize the dual-spring system in the XD 45 ACP tactical model. And yet they did in the service model. And while I don't know why Springfield opted not to use the dual-spring set up on the tactical models I am curious about what is best for my gun. I thank those that read this for their time, thoughts, and suggestions.
