blackhawk cqc serpa

Hi Everyone,

My first post to the site, thank you all for making out site one of the best.

I currently have a .45acp tactical, and my question to any who have a blackhawk cqc serpa holster is this. "Does any one know if the cqc holsters fully cover the entire barrel or is the muzzle end sticking out past bottom of holster ?

sticks out. My 4" 40 is just about flush so I would say that leaves about one inch exposed when I use my 45 tac..

Also got the 40 4in and yes your tactical model will stick out through the bottom. Everything still functions as advertised. The holster was actually designed to accommodate the tactical, service, and subcompact models.

How do you guys like the Serpa? My friend has it for his glock, and Ive seen another guy carrying it for duty use (plainclothes). Seems ok, didnt get to play with it yet.

It's my first holster for the XD40 Service, other than the springfile POS that comes with it. To be completely honest with you, I don't ever see myself buying another holster for it. It rides comfortably, has a completly adjustable cant, and rides so close you almost think it's trying to hide in your shorts. I just hope they make a duty holster version of it for my gun so I can carry it once I start my LEO job next May.
