need some help on how to wear the IWB holster

I plan to get a K and B Dakota I think in the mean time I got a don hume 715 and a gunner's alley belt. I am confused a bit on how the wear it . I have a 34 waist 5'7 160 lbs. The gun is a 9mm sc xd of course( although I also have a 45 compact.) I like to wear my shirts tucked. Personally I think an untucked shirt looks a bit sloppy on me. I seems when you go to tuck the shirt the clip will prevent you from tucking it in. I see pictures of the various holsters with the shirt tucked so there has to be a trick to it?
What are the popular and comfortable areas to tuck the holster. Appendix carry makes me nervous, as stated elsewhere on this forum as a truism: never point at anything you would mind losing. The idea of a bullet in the gut does not thrill me nor does and accidental discharge taking out a gonad.
3 o'clock abuts the hip so the 4 o'clock carryseems right I guess.
I currently wear a 34 waist pants should I invest in a few larger pairs of pants? The belt I got was a 38 inch and seems right with the rig on.
There seems to be a lot of discussion about particluar holsters and not a lot of the ins and outs of concealment so this would be of interest to me and other guys new to the idea of carrying.

For a "true tuckable" IWB holster you must ensure that the clips used to attach the holster to the belt/waistband are made for tucking in a shirt. check out comp-tac.com and look through the mounting options for examples.

This holster got some pretty good reviews on another forum I was on.

Also, heard some bad things about the J-Hook style of mounting to the belt. Some find it comes off during the day. May want to go with the clips that hook onto the entire belt. Not as discreet, but they really shouldn't draw that much attention.

Highnoon is another company that has a good rep and makes some good tuckable holsters. Some are in stock, some have a turnaround time. They make the Split Decision http://www.highnoonholsters.com/Prod..._decision.html
and it is in stock ready to order and not a bad price either.
