9mm conversion question

Do you need any other parts besides the barrel to convert from 40 t0 9mm? can you use the factory 40 magazines? Thinking about getting a 9mm conversion just to shoot now and then.

Just need the barrel. If your 40 mags try to double feed or lock back with a round left in the mag, you can squeeze the feds lips together slightly and should work ok. Most of my 40 mags worked ok without any adjustment.

now... if you squeeze the lips of the mag on your 40sw to make some 9mm fit, would the 40sw work with that mag, or is it dedicated for 9mm from now on?

Still works for .40s if you don't overdo it. In fact, stock 9mm mags work for .40s, just don't hold as many of them.

I can buy stock 9mm mags and they will fit in my 40 right? I'd rather not mess with my 40 mags since this isn't a permanant conversion, I just like to be able to shoot some 9's every now and then. Thanks for your info guys
