Another Holter Question, C-TAC Again
I understand the same questions get regurgitated and tiring to answer, but as a newbie cc I have questions that cannot get answered locally. I apologize but like I tell my clients, there are no dumb questions if you do not know the answer and everyone was a beginner, so one more time please?
I am carrying an XD4” in a BladeTech IWB wearing a 1.5” CSB7 Galco Cop belt but I really hate this rig. What I do not like is, the cant and sagging. Viewing photos on the web is seems like holsters have a good cant with no belt sagging. As I go about the day, what I experience is, as long as I continually reposition my BladeTech up into the 330-4 o’clock position and push the cant forward while pulling up my pants, I like it. But within a few minutes my pants sag, the grip goes rearward printing and the whole rig starts is creep rearward. If I tighten my belt up to the next hole, it helps somewhat but becomes quite uncomfortable to almost painful where I must go into the restroom and undo it all for relief. My questions are, will the Comp-TAC with its mounting stabilizer wings not directly on center of the holster provide a wider base to help in the stability and keep its 25° of cant? Also, I think I want more cant than the BladeTech has at 15° so the Comp-Tac 25° interests me. Plus I like the idea of the Comp-TAC Slides so I can carry both 4” and 5”. I got the Velcro tip, thanks but will Velcro really keep the cant forward? How tight should I wear my belt, comfortable or tight or just how tight? And lastly, I did get a tip to use suspenders to help with the sagging, anybody use them? Thanks for your time! |
