Gorilla Glue?

Would Gorilla Glue be a good substitute for Blue Loctite? I've used GG on a cracked stock on my A.K. and I can say that it will crack somewhere else before it cracks where the repair is.

I use GG for all kinds of things around the house, but that's not one I would try.

My father in law does a lot of fine work and hates the stuff. Tried it once and it screwed up his whole project. I will say that whatever you put together STAYS together, but it does not dry clear as some other do.
