i picked up one of these (or something really similar):
http://cgi.ebay.com/Springfield-Armo...QQcmdZViewItem got it originally for my bersa .380 but my XD SC fits snugly in it (the one i got last year was for "subcompacts", dealer didn't specify XD SC specifically) it works suprisingly well, IMHO. i wear baggy pants (scrubs) at the animal hospital i work at and really don't have too much of a problem. i love it for car carry. a lot of times i wear a IWB and this for long road trips to keep the gun closer at hand during the ride. |

Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep looking! I'll probably end up getting a few and figuring out which one works best.

Wow, I've got an XDSC and could not imagine wearing it around my ankle. Aside from concealment issues (which it looks like can be addressed), I just don't see it as being a comfortable rig.

I guess I'll end up purchasing a few and then selling/sending back the ones I do not like.
It's really the only way to tell if you are comfortable with it. |
