outside waistband holsters

I just bought a leather Galco high ride holster with a thumb-break. I have a couple questions for those of you who have used the same or similar holsters.

1. Which gun belt do you use?

2. Where do you wear it? I can't wear it on the hip, but it seems to fit well just behind the hip, does it break in and fit better at 3 o'clock?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I use a galco fletch for my xd45 service. I have used it with several regular leather belts from 1.25" to 1.5". I wear it at about 4 o'clock most of the time with an untucked shirt or a jacket with shirt tucked. It's quite comfortable there. When driving it's not quite as comfortable there, but it's acceptable. This is the holster I use the most and I have been extremely pleased with it.

I am about to go out and buy the Galco FLETCH....I am a big guy (wide not tall)...and I am looking for comfort and concealability. Do you recommend it?

Yes I do. If you don't want the thumb break, they have virtually the same holster called the concealable CON440. The fletch is FL440.
