While I don't have one... yet... I've gotten nothing but rave reviews from those that do have them. Most claim they are the most comfortable IWB holster they ever owned and some have several for different guns.
The down side is the wait to get one IF you order it from Milt Sparks. I just orded one for myself from Brownell's online. Their retail price is $77 for one and with my C&R discount, I got one for $67 and no wait time for it to be made as it was in stock and shipped out the next day. |

I have a SS for my 1911. I bought from Brownells with my discount because I didn't want to wait for one to be made for me.
I don't have anything else to compare it to, but it is working fine for me. No problems or complaints.

Griz, is your SS for an XD? I see that Brownells has some in stock, but not for the XD.

I have a 1911 on order with Kimber that I plan on being my carry gun because it is slimmer. I ordered a belt, versa max 2, and axiom from Milt Sparks, but I have been trying to find a SS to carry the XD in the meantime. If I order one, it will come in with the 1911 stuff so I'll just carry that.

I've got one that I carry my Hi Power in. Fantastic holster, however, I think Rafter's makes a pretty good product too. It's not the same as a Milt Sparks, but they are nice. I love the SS, but, all I buy now is Rafter's.

I have carried all of my 1911s in SS for many, many years. Best IWB made. Just look at other makers web sites and see how many copies you find. The original is still the best! It has been done right, all others can quit trying!
Is that enough? Can you tell I like the SS? |
