Which Kel-Tec Sub2000 version is easiest to modify xd mags for?

I would like one if these nifty little carbines as a companion to my XD40 service. Does anyone know which one will work best between the Glock 22, S&W 4006, Beretta 96, or SIG 226 versions, or which of these pistols' mags are closest to the XD mags in shape and size? I plan on adding new mag-latch holes to my XD mags to match the latching mechanism on the Sub2000, just want to know which will work best, be easiest to mod to. I've done this kind of thing before, modifying some generic 9mm 30-round mags to work in my PT-99, so I ain't skeered. I'll probably get a cheaper generic mag to prototype with and test before touching my OEM mags.

Thanks, that is exactly the kind of info i was looking for. Looks like either the S&W or the Beretta will work AFAICT. I also realized after I posted this that it probably would've been better in the "Other Guns" area, my apologies to the forum members.
You guys are as helpful as the guys on the COG forums are on motorcycle questions. Thanks again!
