blackhawk cqc____

Need to know, if it's normal for the CQC holster to fit loose(2 much moement). It leaves a long nasty looking scratch, on the front two corners of the slide. I know wear is show of gun, but this is unlike leather wear.
Anyone try the black pen like birchwood has out, If you have plz let me know how it worked out....

Thanks.

I have never heard of the holster itself causing scratches but you might want to inspect it very closely to ensure there is no garbage, grit, sand, or dirt in it. As far as the Blackening Pen by BC it will work for a little while it is just a paint pen and will wear off soon. The real problem you have is what is causing the scratches.

If it's too loose, there's a small screw on the side which you can use to tighten it... at least my CQC Serpa has it.

Mine didn't do that. It only wears on the slide release.

Mine never left wear on my XD. Knight may have hit the nail on the head, check for debris.

I've since moved on to a Blade Tech and am happier.

I've got a CQC and haven't had a problem. Check out the Fobus holsters. My buddy picked one up for his Glock. They are awesome and well made.

See that's the thing, on my holster the screw is for the release tention, my prblem is that the pistol is loose forward and backwards dose that make sense i dunno. Anyways from reading other replies, I may just return for another and see how it works out......Oh this is a great holster
