what do guide rod and springs help with?
well i just got my 9mm xd today and i am a total firearm newbee and when i was looking at accessories for this gun a saw the guide rod and springs and i was wondering wht they do. i have search but did not find an answer. any info would be great, thanks

By going with a heavier spring, you can reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip. This is a very popular mod for the XD.
