First off, go to Pistol Gear for your needs, GREAT service and prices.
I've never had a problem yanking mags out of the Uncle Mikes double mag holder as long as the tension screw is adjusted properly, but its all I've ever used so I don't have anything to compare to. I went with the SRB because the tech lock was on backorder when I needed a new holster. I believe the holster itself is the same, just the mounting part is different. Old School will give us the scoop if we're incorrect. |

That way I have both options. I am not sure if I want to spend $40 each on a mag holder but the tek-lok would be nice to adjust quickly during matches to fit the need of the stage. |

Not sure how much you want to be adjusting your mag holders around. I see some value in running your rig the same as much as you can so you don't have to think about where something is on your belt. Batman taught me that... anyhoo, I'm sure others with more experience will chime in here.

I would get one from PistolGear but they do not have any single mag holders that I like for IDPA.
One thing I learned this weekend is that having two mags side by side slows you down when only removing one. |

I thought the tek-lok gave you too much stand off in IDPA, rendering the holster illegal? Or is my match director just a a hard a**?

Sounds like H.A. syndrome. That Tek Lock is tight.
Does he use a ruler when scoring against the perforations? |
