Desanti Kingston Truck Holster Review

I just got this the other day. So far I'm very impressed. It doesn't get in the way at all. I've been wanting one for some time because I don't carry my pistol at work and this foots the bill quite nicely.
I'm in construction so please forgive the dirty truck, bad seat covers and the bad pics.

I was just looking at one of these for traveling when we won't be in and out of the vehicle much at all. Question though, since you don't carry at work.. you don't just cover the gun up with a towel when you leave the vehicle do you?

I seriously am considering getting one of these holsters. I think it was just last night that I was looking at them. Glad someone else got one so I know whether it's worth it or not.

No, I'll put it in the center console or under the seat (glove box is too small).

I've thought about using my Uncle Mike's 1911 holster and buying a velcro nylon belt to wrap around the seat. I wonder if that would work....

I have a Don Hume holster that I no longer use to carry. I have it strapped to a certain spot that keeps the pistol hidden well, accessible, and safe from rattling and moving parts.

Does it work well? I can take the thumb break piece out of one side and feed the belt through it. How did you attach yours?

Personally I like the bottle of Lilly Spring close at hand. Driving in trucks make my nuts stink too.

I don't think so. I tried to go lefty when I put it on but I believe it's one way. I'm right handed but I wanted to draw lefty in case I needed to shoot my passenger...
