There's something comforting about looking over in the middle of the night, after your eyes have adjusted. There on the night stand, you see three green dots in a triangle pattern. Either the mouse sized Sam Fisher or my 40 tac with TFO's is there when I need it.

$39? Sure, might give it a try.
$59? Ummm...not quite as attractive.
$79? Pass...that's money I'd rather spend toward some skilled hands-on trigger work.

Just my $0.02

What tools are necessary and how hard is it to replace the existing sear?

I would also be interested as the amount of travel for firing and the reset really irks me.

To remove and install the sear, I use a punch and needle nose plyers. A pen comes in handy when you have to put the sear spring back on.

If you have to take some metal off, more than likely a small file.

Hope that this new sear materialize and I'm allowed to buy outside the US.

Years back I've seen post of Bob (Barsto time?) working on a drop in trigger system of HS/XD but did not materialize.
