the ctac slide for XD 40/45 is ordered! when i called yesterday, they put me on the phone with a gentleman (possibly JD) who very much seemed to know what he was talking about.

the nifty thing about comp-tac...is I get 30 days to try it, and if it's not cool on both, I can exchange it. i mostly will carry the 9sc, but I wanted the option to go .45 service, so even if I had to adjust the tension a little, it wouldn't be that often to annoy me.
plus it wouldn't surprise me if the 45 compact isn't a tiny bit thicker.

should get here next week...they're closed friday - monday for the holiday, but it might be shipped tomorrow since I got my order in early today.

just an update...the CTAC showed up today, and both my .45 service and 9mm subcompact fit perfectly, and securely.
I still need a good belt before I can see how it feels to wear, how well it conceals, etc. (and since its 2 weeks til CCW applications can be filled out...I'll be carrying around the house)
