electronic muffs - $29.97

I saw these advertised at Sportsman's Guide

Electronic Muffs $29.97

I'm not affiliated with them in any way (except as a customer). It just looked like it might be a good deal and I wanted to share!

Thanks ajames for the input - Then I'll order a few more from them knowing that they work well. (My kids like the range - and I would like a pair for each of them.)

They only draw back against these and more expensive models is that they shut off at anything over loud talking....good becuase it protects you but you never realize how load you really are. A recomendation is to turn the microphone on your left side so it faces to th rear, this helps you with talking and not having them shut off so often.

Here's another good deal PELTOR Tactical 6-S Electronic Earmuffs for $70. http://www.letargets.com/html/disc.html They're definately not $30 but they're excellent muffs.

I have the harbor freight cheapos, they work good. James is right though, they shut off too much. I never thought about turning them around, good idea. They are definitely worth the money.
