Mag spring question

Here's what's probably a dumb question. but it seems logical to me that keeping a full 10 rnds in my 9mm mag (I live in NY ) will wear out or "loosen" the spring faster. is this even something I need to worry about? Is there some kind of regularity that should be used in removing the rounds that are normally kept in the mag? I always keep a full mag of HP in the event I get invaded in the middle of the night etc. So is doing this killing my mag fast or should I be emptying it and rotating to another one? Man this question sounds dumber the longer I go on....

Short answer.. cycles is what will kill your mag spring. Keeping the mag compressed or loose does not matter.

I keep extra on hand and change them when needed. Some factory springs do not seem to hold up well, such as the ones in my CZ75. After a few thousand rounds they got replaced with quality springs.
