Love my belt. Should have gotten it a little bigger for IWB. That holster doesn't look like that much of an advantage over an Uncle Mike's slide, but a hugely increased cost.

I saw that belt and holster on an episode of Shooting Gallery. The instructor claimed he used them himself and was an instructor at Gunsite? Anyways, the holster can adjust to fit different width belts easily and is simple to put on/take off without having to remove the belt. It also retains its shape and does not collapse after drawing the weapon so reholstering is much easier. It holds the pistol close to the body as well to keep from printing through the outer shirt.

It appeared to be a quality holster and I would like to get the belt myself.

I've just about talked myself into one of the instructor belts. I'd like the wider one but I'd also like to be able to use the mag holder that came with my XD. I measured the loops and it looks like they are just a hair under 1 3/4" wide. Does anyone know for sure if it will fit on the wider instructor belt? Possibly the belt doesn't measure a full 1 3/4" either?

I have used the XD holster on a 1 3/4" belt but I had to use a heat gun and open it up a little. it was pretty easy, and the holster didn't move up and down at all

Now that I think about it the belt was thicker than the wilderness belt and move of a duty gun belt.

I went with the 1 1/2" belt because all of my belt loops fit a 1 1/2" belt.

These were not foreigners killed by invading armies during times of war, these were citizens killed by their own governments in times of peace.

holster

I have the holster and it works great. it is very comfortable i hardly even know i am carrying my gun when i have it on. the only problem is having to wear longer shirts to make sure it is covered. it hugs close to the body but since it is an owb the longer shirt is needed. when i whear my iwb blade tech UHC i dont have to worry as much about my shirt riding up and showing my stuff. the only drewback there is is that you have to squeez the gun in to make sure it is a good tight fit. it doesnt just slide in a click. other than that it is great. dont have to take the belt off to get the holster off and if i leave my gun in the car the holster jsut blends in. I recomend it.

XD 40 44"
cabellas last chance duty belt $18 just like the wilderness belt without the velcro and 1/3 the price

I have both the belt and the holster. I think I was the first one to get the holster for an XD as they emailed me that they needed to obtain an XD to get the pattern correct. I've had it for about 7 months. The holster is very comfortable to wear but is terrible to draw from for a right hander. The take-down lever and the barrel hood/slide opening hangs on the draw if you don't pull it at just the right angle. I have practiced with it quite a bit and if I'm really concentrating, about 7 out of 10 draws will be fine, the other 3 I really have to struggle to get it out. To be fair, somebody put a little bit of a "spare tire" around my waist recently and that could be affecting me, but I'm not confident with it at this time.
