concealed carry of mags

For those who wear IWB holsters (assuming you carry two spare mags)
If you have an IWB holster, how do you carry your extra mags?

A. Inside the pants without a pouch.

B. Inside a pocket.

C. In an OWB mag pouch.

D. In a dual IWB mag pouch

E. In single IWB mag pouches.

If you use IWB mag pouches, what make (i.e. Crossbreed, Tucker, etc.) do you prefer?

Do you prefer single IWB pouches or a dual one? Why?

Thanks in advance.

honestly even though I make all kinds of gear, I've tried every possible method of carrying mags and find them all uncomfortable so I carry my extra mags in my left back pocket it just works for me.

I had a pair of jeans modified to make a mag carrier in the back pocket.

IWB for double stack mags is painful, 1911 types are fairly easy to carry IWB but still dig in a bit. Most makers don't recommend IWB for dbl stacks.

I have used one of these in the past.

It works well with a untucked shirt or coat but I really haven't found a great way to carry them. I usually place one in a coat pocket or pants pocket.

The only IWB carry I do is with my P11 and belt clip. I stick the extra mags in my back pocket.

Normally the P11 is a secondary and I don't carry spare mags for it. I'll carry an XD on the belt or in a shoulder rig, mags go eitehr on the other side of teh shoulder rig, in a weak side dual mag holder or back pocket.

Bad thing about XD mags (and most fullsize dbl stack mags) in back pocket is sitting, they grab on the pocket edge and make it difficult to sit without leeting them slide partially over the top and then you migth get up and leave a mag behind. I always rememebr to check and make sure I have both mags when I standup if I'm carrying them in a back pocket.

I'd certainly like to see pix of the jean modification.

I did a search on Google and found a store that sold them.

Now I would contact Scott (aka Old School) over at Pistol-Gear and have him try to order one since he carries Safariland products. I've had excellent service from him in the past.

You could call Safariland and see if they will sell one

I have ordered from here b4 http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum1726.php

I have been known, on occasion, to slip an extra mag inside my wool socks when it's cold out
