TFO install question

So I'm looking to pimp up my new XD9. Pistolgear.com has the TFO ones for $89 which is probably the best deal anywhere. how easy is it to put these things on? Any risk of damaging the gun and I'm sending it off to someone else, because I'm about as mechanical as a chipmunk. they look sharp though...

Install

https://www.shop.xd-hs2000.com/: This is one of XDTALK's sponsors. I will probably send my slide to him for the TFO's. His price is a little more, but right now he is running a free install deal on the TFO's.

probably best to send it to canyon creek, springer precision, or springfield to have the work done. that way you can get a nice trigger job and extended mag release at the same time

I'm actually on the shop.xd-hs2000 site right now and I saw that. Nah, probably won't go for the extended mag release button, but a trigger job would be good, maybe a guide rod/spring too, and I'm toying with buying a TLR1 but it's too close to Christmas.
