Does anyone know of a way to mount a red dot sight on a tactical model. I was thinking that something like the package Sig makes for the Mosquito would work,http://www.sigarms.com/SigStore/Show...&productid=103
Don't think that one will fit but it would be basically what I would be looking for. Thanks Mike G |

You can try it but I fear the recoil will destroy the mount. There are modified Carver mounts made by Novak's Handgunner Outlet that allow a red dot to be mounted.

I use a Glock mount on my XD45 service. It needed to have the inside of frame filed out a little bit, but this took less then 5 minutes to make it fit. Removal and remount do not affect poa on the unit. I bought the thing on ebay for my xd9mm about 2 years ago.
