Being from Ohio and the gay car carry law we have these boxes are actually available locally everywhere. They are very handy especially for the price. Also you don't have to rely on the cable. You can pull the foam out and bolt it down then replace the foam. I wanted to bolt mine to the wall behind the seat of my truck but as it has to be in "plain sight" in OH I bolted it to the floor on the hump between the seats. Works well and actually good location if I ever have to grab it from there.

COM Safes

Have one, love it. Got one for my father in law, he loves it.

the center of mass one also has bolt holes predrilled for those wanting to bolt it down. I was going to but decided the cable was good enough for the intended use.

BTW - anyone know if there is a double size out there somewhere? I'd love to be able to store two pistols in case my passenger ever needed to store theirs as well and I can't fit two of them in my sonoma.

I'm going to assume you are talking motorcycle, if I'm wrong disregard the rest of this post.

There is absolutely no way to secure your motorcycle from theft. Sure, you can try (grip locks, wheel locks, alarm, etc) but if someone wants your motorcycle, they are going to take it; and bikes are stolen often. There are tons of cases where the theives pick up the bike, and toss it in the back of the van.

Once these people steal said motorcycle, and find that there is a gun in a safe attached to it, they are going to get into that safe and use your gun.

When riding, I would suggest: Carry in a very secure holster, or don't carry at all. A riding buddy of mine left his 9mm in the "trunk" of his gsxr, and the bike got stolen. Now he is out a bike and a gun, and who knows what that gun is being used for now.

If you are talking about a bicycle...I won't even go there.

I keep one in my truck to hold my XD40 Service Mod, and a Kel-Tec 380. It fits perfect under the armrest of my F150, with the cable hooked around the seat base.
