I have a wilderness tac belt, and I absolutely love it. It's a great belt. They will make just about any size you can think of, so I'd go with them. They're not all that "dressy," but they work like a charm.

You know, this crap happens with in-breeding. You can only hope the unfortunate, screwed up love child would take themselves out of the gene pool when they discover electrical outlets and butter knives or start huffing paint when they're 7 or 8 but every once in a while a truly magnificent specimen makes it to adulthood to display for the world just how freaking stupid they really are.

For nylon belts the Wilderness belts are very popular.

I prefer leather belts so I have 2 belts from Jim The Beltman.

http://www.thebeltman.net

The belts from The Beltman are custom made to your order. He has several different types of leather and lots of options available. If what you want is not on his site then call him, he will do his best to help you out. His prices are good for a fully custom made leather belt.

I just picked up a new belt at walmart ( I was desperate), 11.96 and I've been wearing it for about 3 weeks. Black leather with a standard buckle. Supports the pistol and my pants fine thus far. I can't see spending 40-50 bucks for something thats about the same strenght as a 10 dollar walmart job. I also cn't see spending 75-100 bucks for something that while superior to the 10 dollar job, is still 75-100 bucks and while it may last twice as long, isn't really any better.... twice as long at 10 times teh cost at worth it. Wish I could find that bianchi belt again... it was 19.99 and fit perfectly, no roll or anything for 3 years. Inconspicious... they always discontinue the good stuff.

My old belt (a bianchi something or other concealed belt) crapped out after about 3 years... pretty good IMO.

My holsters have eaten through 2 $10 belts. Spend the money on a good quality belt.

Milt Sparks

I've got 3 belts, 3 holsters, and 3 or 4 mag pouches from Milt Sparks, and all of them are excellent. I've got 2 belts that are 1 3/4" wide, and one that is 1 1/4" wide. You can take these belts, even the skinny one, hold them by the ends, and they will support their own weight in mid-air. If you rap them with your knuckles, it sounds like you're knocking on a solid core wood door. Not very scientific, but rigidity is important. I hated carrying IWB until I got that first good belt. Everything would sag and flop unless I tightened the belt up to the point of passing out. I haven't tried any other belts; I just like the look of leather and brass buckles. Even brand new, they're totally comfortable within 3 or 4 hours of wearing.

Check these guys out. I was in their shop yesterday and handled some of their belts. Very nice hardware, and high quality leather in these belts. They are nice and thick and should resist twisting and stretching fairly well. I just bought a 5.11 belt, or I would have bought one of these yesterday. Their service is awesome too!

I was wondering if anyone has used one of those Ace bandage style belts that go under your clothes? I would think it would get sweaty. How good do they conceal your weapon?
