I went back and read your prior post on 10/19 which sounded like you had ordered the holster from Mark. You stated it took about 6 weeks to get it. If you are un-happy with it you will be able to sell it in the trading area pretty quick... I am assuming you ordered it for the XD Service 45?

If it's for a XD Service in .40 or 357 sig let me know I'll buy it from you give you cash in a local deal/trade if you want to part with it.

Can't wait to get mine, I think anytime now!

That was pretty SH*TTY to flame Mark/Crossbreed, who is one of the most responsive and responsible mfgs. I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. He takes his work and customer service seriously and should have been given the benefit of the doubt.

I have nothing but good things to say about Crossbreed Holsters. I just ordered another one for my H&K.

The website is vaguely referenced in the ebay lisiting, but not directly mentioned as that is against ebay policy, so it is completely possible to not know there is a web site if you found the holster under one of my lisitngs on ebay.

HOWEVER,... The last two lines of the listing on Ebay were pretty clear.

"Don't forget the two week try-it-for-free gaurantee. And the one year warranty on materials and workmanship. If this holster is not all it's supposed to be return it within two weeks for a full refund."

listing number 170024723955

FWIW, I rarely list my products on ebay any more........there are reasons for that decision..................

Ok Folks, something has been bugging me about my exchange with Excaliber and I think I know what it is.

I generally like to have the benefit of the doubt when issues arise, but I did not give it to him.

Excaliber and I exchnged PMs and I'll work with him to resolve the issue.

However I also feel I should publicly apologize to him for jumping his butt right off the bat without offerng to just fix the problem. That was poor form on my part. Sometimes folks just need to take a deep breath before they speak. Should have done that myself.

So, Excaliber, I am sure you'll read this and I do apologize for getting so defensive, it's not my style and I should have taken that deep breath myself. I'll take care of your probs with that holster as we discussed in the PM.

For the rest of you who had to read it and who's thread was hijacked, my apologies to you as well.

My customer service and my products stand on thier own reputations and I have more confidence in both of them than to get all bitchy like I did.

No one suggested or put me up to this, I just thought it was the right thing to do after cooling off and thinking about it.

No excuses, no lame explanations, I was wrong to treat excalibur as I did and I do apoplogize.

Nothing personal meant or taken. Just a post made that probably should have been handled differently. The screws will be replaced and life will go on
