Heavy Metal Polish
Okay, so I don't have a Les Schwab within 250 miles of me, and I really want to polish some parts on my XD. Does anyone out there have a 1/2 used bottle of this stuff you'd be willing to part w/ for less than full price paid? Not really sure how much of the stuff you will go through to polish the barrel, but mabye there is someone out there looking for some good karma that would be willing to send their bottles of green and blue polish for me to use for a day or two to polish my barrel and I'd be more than happy to ship back and pay for your shipping.
Let me know as I'm eager to do this. There has to be someone out there looking for some good karma!!! Thanks!

I'd help ya out if I had any. I do pass by a Les Schwab daily though, and would be happy to pick it up & send your way. I'm not springing for it, but I can get it for ya.

I asked the very same thing myself before I polished my barrel. At the time, no one wanted to send me some of theirs and I couldn't understand why. Now I do. From having done the polish job, believe me, you'll want to have your very own bottle of it with your gun supplies. Every time you use the gun at the range, the metal will get pretty scuffed up and marred, and you'll want to polish it again to keep it looking good. It's in your best interest to have your own stash of it.
I already e-mailed the folks that make the product. They inform me that it does not have an expriation date or shelf life. You can store it away for as long as you need it, just shake it well every time before you use it. Last edited by XDAndMe; 10-12-2006 at 05:19 PM. |
