My Left Handed QwikClip Crossbreed arrived Today! Now with Pic's (not 56k friendly)
After my own wait for the Crossbreed I ordered,, oh so many moons ago, Finally, it came in the mail today! (Ill take some pictures later on and post them)
As this was really my 1st purchase of any real "quality" holster I could almost slap myself for buying the ones I did buy. Namely the Uncle Mikes nylon IWB and another generic Nylon one that I got at a gunshow. This QwikClip is a GodSend. Granted I've only just put it on, but even that, just that is a giant measurable difference to what I have been used to. A Giant Thanks goes out to Mark at Crossbreed for making a Left Handed Holster I can be proud of!! Really people, if you're sitting on the fence as to wait or Order your Crossbreed Holster, do it while there's still a little time before Christmas. www.crossbreedholsters.com Last edited by IndianaJones; 10-10-2006 at 01:57 PM. |

Is there really some huge difference to these holsters as opposed to others? Im sure its made better, etc... but for the $$$ and the wait? Im not sure its worth it, being open though... I honestly havent seen or tried one out either. So who knows...

The retention in this Crossbreed QwikClip BLOWS AWAY anything I've tried before. I now have no need for any Thumbstrap to help keep the Handgun from coming out of the holster. The XD40 is IN THERE, until I pull it out. This Crossbreed does NOT ride like the cheaper Nylon Holsters That I own. I really didnt know what to think of this KYDEX plastic molding, but I have to say, from the use of it thusfar, I really like it. Its completely form fitted to my XD40. And should work for my XD40sc when I get one. (Unless I can actually wait for the XD45sc.) As for the $ and the wait.....I was fortunate enough to get this on sale for $50 (including s&h...which i might add cost Mark $4.55 USPS Priority, with tracking code) Having paid $449.00 for my First Handgun on June 2nd,2006, I really dont believe that the few $ spent on a Quality Holster, Specifically made for my handgun is to much to ask. Especially if I look at the Tucker "The Answer" Holster thats more than 2x what I paid for my Crossbreed. As for the wait, Well, I waited 9 weeks for mine. However there were things going on that was beyond anyone's control, and that's just the way of the world. The popularity is growing for the Crossbreed Models, and Rightly so. As more and more orders are placed for a Crossbreed, and people are recieving them, I've yet to see a negative remark about them. If a Crossbreed is in your future or not, is entirely up to you. There are many companies that make holsters, but few that take the time to let you know what is going on. As I've learned in life throughout the years..... You get what you pay for.....Just with the Crossbreeds, you get a bit more, which is a rarity in this day and age. Just my 2 cents |

Here's mine. This time for a Glock 26 (LH also). Along with my companion Super Tucks, two of the most comfortable IWB holsters I have ever owned. Very affordable as well.
